PARISH OF THE NEW ENGLAND DIOCESE OF THE ORTHODOX CHURCH IN AMERICA
Olga Clow
Olga (Sadonsky) Clow, 82, died in Claremont, NH, on April 23, 1997. She was born in Claremont, NH, on July 27, 1914, the daughter of Basil and Anna (Kutchka) Sadonsky, emigrants from Belarus. She was a Claremont and later Cornish resident all her life. She married Howard Francis Clow and had two sons, David and Brian.
Being a superb craftswoman, a professional cook, and an energetic member of HROC Sisterhood, Olga was one of the founders of many church fundraising events such as craft and food sales. And especially the Cook Book that was compiled by parishioners and published in 1980. The book became very popular in town and was sold out quickly. Olga also was a creator-mom of many huge blue stuffed elephants and cute big rugged dolls. Numerous of these "Anns" and "Andys” were adopted and loved by the town and the church families with young kids.
Olga was buried in Comings Cemetery, Cornish, NH. Rest in peace, dear Olga; the parish remembers you with gratitude!
